DOUG AITKEN WORKSHOP & KCRW PRESENT BECK & LA LOM - SOLD OUT
LA natives Beck and La Lom will deliver a one-of-a-kind performance, blending surf-cumbia with moody, hypnotic jams. Inspired by their Lightscape scene at a Burbank donut shop, this Friday night activation channels the energy of late-night musical gatherings, weaving together psychedelic surf riffs, cumbia grooves, and experimental textures to transform the Theater Gallery into an immersive, living soundscape.
This event is now sold out.

DOUG AITKEN WORKSHOP & KCRW PRESENT "FRONTIER" WITH ED RUSCHA - sold out
For one day only, on Saturday, May 3, the Lightscape installation will give way to a special event: the North American premiere of Frontier, 2009, an artwork/film by Doug Aitken featuring legendary artist Ed Ruscha.
Originally shown as an open-air, multi-channel installation in Rome, Frontier casts Ruscha as the protagonist—watching a film end, stepping outside, and finding the street scenes around him increasingly divorced from reality.
At 2:00 PM, Aitken and Ruscha will hold a live discussion, offering insights into their explorations of landscape, process, and contemporary art.
Second Screening – Immediately following the talk
Tickets available at MarcianoArtFoundation.org
